Established in 2005 by Chinese designer Ming Xu, and French architect Virginie Moriette,
design mvw has designed over 200 pieces of distinctive furniture as well as dozens of larger-scale projects. Their workshop is located in the heart of Shanghai’s French Concession, and showcases past projects as well as their award-winning furniture collection.
The pair draws their inspiration from over 20 years of combined experience and a unique blend of Franco-Chinese culture. The synergy of their respective cultures and professional training has resulted in an inimitable style that has been internationally recognized for their blend of timeless elements and contemporary style.
